There is obviously an abundance of humour among Ottawa area geocachers, with evidence taking the form of cache pages, logging of finds, and banter on the trails and at events. Strangely, however, we seem never to have had an event highlighting it. So when I recently learned that November 8 is known internationally as Abet and Aid Punsters Day (You can look it up!), I figured we just had to have an event for it here in Ottawa, and on the proper day. So here it is. Be prepared for good fellowship, good conversation, and especially, I hope, good humour. Though it's certainly optional, feel free to come with your best puns locked and loaded, or just to listen to others, all in a safe and warm environment, with ample parking, food and coffee available, restroom facilities, and with accredited service animals permitted. Optionally, for those so inclined, there will be a logbook to sign.
