Welcome to Stratford Speedway.
This venue is owned by the Taranaki Stockcar club and they have been racing here since 19XC/19XX when there was just AX stock-cars competing. From October through to March/April, the roar of the engines can be heard churnning up the oval most Saturday nights (well if you live nearby like me, sometimes you may not even hear it or other times its like its literally right in your house - and when I say close by, I can probably see you locating the information, the final is another matter...). They normally kick the season off with a bang and finish the same way - with an epic fireworks display.
In the 1999/2000 season, the speedway was the first in New Zealand to install an electronic lap scoring system and later that year they won the "Speedway of the Year award".
The Skinner Road Hall was moved on to the site in May of 1999 and now serves as a community hall that many organisations use during the year, and during one weekend in November the entire showgrounds comes alive with a different variety of sounds as it hosts the A and P Show.

G = Name of the team that races here (one word only)
H = White number on blue background below the entrance sign (-3)
I = How wide are the corners (2nd digit minus 1st digit)

This cache is not meant to be too hard but you will need to do two forms of research to find the information as its not all at the virtual stage.... (no measuring actually required!) Cache is not far away, there is no need to go into the showgrounds.
