Since my daughter moved here, I have enjoyed visiting this lovely park and all it has to offer...
"A gorgeous area which can cater for larger groups. Fenced playground partially shaded runs along the river frontage. Barbeque facilities with longer style bench seating under cover, picnic tables under permanent structure also. Ample parking spaces on site. Enjoy the view and peaceful environment whilst keeping an eye out on the Weir Park river gates in case they are in action. The Yanga Trial is nearby also for those walking enthusiasts. There is also a great sized off leash area for our four legged friends. Toilet facilities are also available."
While here there is also an easy multi-cache to find. But then you can find this obviously hidden mega bison tube in my favourite colour, given to me by my daughter, for my last birthday. Be careful making your way to it, lots of stumps, sticks and leaves to navigate around. Please cover it up after signing the log so the muggles dont see it.
