This is my 1st cache hide. Nestled behind one of knox's golf courses the Watreford Valley, is the small quite fairway reserve. The residential park has a golf theme to it as do many of the sorrounding street names which are either named after famous players or parts of the game or course. The Waterford Valley course is known as a champion course providing large fairways, 2 creeks, 11 lakes and wetlands with birdlife even platapus. The park has some swings, a climbing frame and slide. I played here for many years growing up. There are a few seats to sit down on where you can often hear the golf balls getting hit just across the Monbulk Creek and small nature reserve that borders the course. Parking can be simple along Fairway Drive alongside the fenced nature reserve either west or south of the park. The cache is a bison tube. FTF 999Hunter
