Geocache Description:

Congratulations to

ILIKEDOGS11 & DogLover1338

on this FTF

THE SLAGA TWELVE DAYS OF CACHEMAS ARE BACK!!!

The Bonus has been delivered!!!

This is the Bonus:

In order to find this cache, you must visit each of the 12 caches, Days 1 thru 12, of the 2019 Cachemas in STL series. On the inside of the lid of each cache container is a code. Using those codes, you will need to figure out how those codes are used in the following puzzle to give you the final coordinates to this Bonus Cache. It is not difficult. Have fun!!

Merry Cachemas and enjoy the day caching

Below is the puzzle you need to figure out using the codes you have collected on Day 1 - Day 12.

As I sit here this year, I am wondering who is going to be trying to get the FTFs for Cachemas 2019. Last year was a fun year as many veteran’s and new cacher’s alike ran to achieve the coveted ordainments. Here are a few flashbacks from the logs. This cacher had just finished cooking and instead of eating a hot meal he set it aside and took off for the cache. He arrived late and ran into others trying to figure it out as well, yet he kept going. Then he arrives at GZ and has to use his phone as a flashlight until he spots the FTF crew watching and nabs a real flashlight from them to make the FTF. Way to go NRL.

Can you imagine running out of the house after drinking 3 cups of coffee and forgetting to grab your jacket just to try and grab a FTF. Well it worked for Quailman2 on Day 5 2018 although they did leave the better half at home in bed. Guessing those must have been some really hot cups of coffee to keep them warm enough to give a shout out to our ornament maker LFrank on the cute candlestick bison tube.

Or how about Kitty716 who ditches going to see Aquaman to follow reflectors in the woods to make her first Cachemas FTF beating out a bunch of others. Come to find out this was also her first Cachemas cache.

And do you remember reading about the guy who got kicked out of his bed by his wife to go find the Cachemas cache. Yes no other than our Forest-Ghosts himself. Then once there he overshoots the GZ because he knew of a stump nearby and saw how it could be a really good spot for a cache.

Of course I can’t forget CribbageWitch’s cache up in North County. Seems while one cacher was there first they headed in the wrong direction for couple hundred yards. Then realizing their mistake had to backtrack and then head in the right direction only to see another cacher off in the distance heading for the cache. Still a couple hundred yards or so behind this other cacher but moving in quickly (they didn’t know he was running to catch up) Major134 yells encouragement alerting TeamBMZ he had competition. Now he is running to and easily get to GZ first only to turn into the woods walking right past the cache while looking at his GPS allowing SWAseeker to make the grab.

Then to wrap up Cachemas 2018 with some really fun as three cachers arrive near GZ at the same time. The first into the woods was a little new comer to the game and he was like a rabbit in the thick willows dogging his way around with the second cacher crashing through the willows trying to keep up. Too bad neither of them was looking at their GPS as they headed in the wrong direction. That left the second half of the dog team an easy walk right to the cache. Soon DogLover1338 and muggle mom had the cache container in hand. Now calling over ILikeDogs11 and Paulgracie to figure out how to sign the log. As fate would have it the dog team and muggle mom figured it out first and claimed the FTF. Everyone there shared the FTF swag and good times. Since some of the caches have been archived here is the final location - The Cachemas Bonus is at north thirty eight degrees twenty eight point two hundred and fourty one and west ninety degrees twenty three point seven hundred and nine.

Can’t wait to go back and read this year’s Cacher’s adventures.
