Geocache Description:

Best tackled in low tide so you can see the oysters you will need to avoid.

Ā

A small plastic vial holds a log only thats not likely to get wet so when you make your way here you will need your own pen.

Ā

A navigational mark for boats using the channel this one right on the point of stuart island. When i went here to leave a cache i actuallt did it without getting my shoes wet. That said i will admit its not often ive seen it that low on the run out tide 0.3m thats not to say it doent happen often. I myself wouldnt go at high tide without a geowater craft. Theres not to much to it here just a deep hole off the end where the fish congregate, oysters on the rocks,Ā
