I believe that back in the old days, when this was a booming town, there stood a fancy hotel here, or somewhere in the general vicinity, and an even fancier train station not far up 8th street. Did you know that down on Davis Street Ferry Rd, there really was a ferry! There were several hotels, bars, restaurants, even a steel mill, and oil fields! This town was well known for the boat races on the Mississippi.
This is an easy p&g. Please beware of muggles, especially on Sunday mornings, and please be respectful of the neighbors, and stay out of their yards. Please watch for wildlife in the area, raccoons and foxes do live in the neighborhood, and there might be a danger noodle watching you too!
