A family favorite of ours is hiking close to home and enjoying the John Nicholas trail. We were surprised there weren't more caches on the way to the reservoir. This cache was more than half way to the reservoir. There is a nice little spot to pull over to the side where you can rest and listen to the running creek. The coordinates are as close as we could get them but beware of poison oak in the area. There shouldn't be any directly near the cache. There are some treasures from the kids, please feel free to take one or leave something and please log your find. The Cub Scouts Mountain Pack Webelos 2 Den practiced with this cache at it's first location and all the kids signed. Enjoy the hike!
