This side of town provides a great view - and some infrastructure such as the playground which the cache is placed near. The local reservoir lives very close to the cache, providing water for the local residents. Near the location of the cache, there is a Zig Zag Garden, which provides a short-cut from Maud Street to Upper Maud Street (cache included!). The area - and the caches - is certainly worth a visit!
There are some other caches in the area, which are also well worth a visit: GC2FVE5, GCMKRW
So, what's so special about this playground? Well, not a lot, but it's nice and quiet, and a great place to take the geokids - especially if you live nearby! The CO used to visit this area a lot, to use the bus stop, and to go to the playground with friends.
I would recommend parking in one of the smaller roads, rather than Amy St, as it is much safer (the hill and trees create blind spots otherwise).
The cache is a medium sized sistema (the container itself is small however). It contains a section for the logbook, and a section for swaps and trackables.
The terrain rating links to whether you want to walk from the zig zag garden or up the hill. If you are driving, the terrain will be 1.5.
