Geocache Description:

Another Cache in our attempts to increase the caching opportunities in our small town!

This Cache is a reasonably short multi around Crewe town centre taking in a few interesting sights, buildings and landmarks.

Stage 1.

You should be in front of our Theatre. It is the only Edwardian Theatre in Cheshire East, and the rake on the stage is 1:18 making it one of the most sloped stages in the country.

If you look up, you'll see a date in red. This is ABxx

Stage 2.

N53.05.949  W02.26.484

Look around to find a stone laid by Arnold James Burton in xxxC

Stage 3.

N53.05.917  W02.26.528

Look up to find D groups of four yellow tiles.

Stage 4.

N53.05.869  W02.26.499

Be careful - How many BACKLESS benches in total on the square? This is E.

Stage 5.

N53.05.853  W02.26.474

This might be better seen from across the street, but you'll find a rather confusing looking date on a building here. However you read it though, it'll be FxxG.

Stage 6.

N53.05.906  W02.26.465

A Crewe landmark! The date on the shield will be xxHx.

Stage 7.

N53.05.902  W02.26.410

There are IJK miles to Germany from this spot.

Stage 8.

N53.05.882  W02.26.359

A famous person visited Crewe on the LMth of March.

Your checksum for your answers is 60, and your co-ordinates to the cache are:

N53. (E-H) (C+L) . (M+K) (F-G) (J-A)

W02. (K/L) (M+F) . (I-C) D (B-J)

The Cache is available at all times, but is in a very high muggle area so stealth will be required for the final.

We HIGHLY reccomend bringing tweezers.
