We have five geocaches hidden within Caprock Canyons, one of our favorite places to hike. We try hard to keep our caches very kid-friendly, and keep them filled with goodies on a regular basis.
This one isn't too diifficult to find. It's in the South Prong campground area. Take the path toward the restrooms, and it's a few steps off the concrete before you reach the restrooms. Look out for stickers and slimy critters.
After signing the log and trading SWAG, please push down the green chain that holds the box toward the bottom of the tree, so it won't be seen while randomly walking down the path (especially in winter, when there isn't much wild growth covering the area).
