While your in this Neck of the Woods... Traditional Cache

This has been placed in a park that is becoming popular with geocaches. Pretty easy terrain untill the last 20 meters. This involves a bit of a scramble up a steep rocky section so this prevents small children from the final hunt. Also the footing will be very slippery when wet so caution should be exercised at all times and the cache should not be attempted when raining.

I had to place another cache in this park for September 17, because I am using this game for GPSr practice for the Nanaimo SAR unit. The practice went well and after the first few cachers comments, I am going to keep this cache active for the forseeable future.

The cache started with the usuall moose and xstitch kit. There is other good stuff too, as all our caches start with but you'll have to come get it to see. There was something special for marinerBC and it was marked for him. He has been here and grabbed it, so everything is up for trading.

Oh yeah, your looking for a rubbermaid container wrapped in a garbage bag.....
