MOGA 2020
During last years exciting MOGA 2019 event, people kept asking if we would ever make it a big event again. So we decided to see if we could achieve it. If we receive more than 300 will attends, then we will apply for that status. Take notice of the activities, the locations, and the times shown below.
Friday Night Registration (GC8F56H) October 9th
Friday Night Registration will be located at the Event Tent at N 39° 31.725' W 91° 44.345'. See GC8F56H for further details.
Individual Competition (N 39° 31.125 W 91° 43.060) October 10th
The Individual Competition will be held at 8:00 am at the above coordinates which are located at the Indian Creek Recreation Area. Each competitor will have 2.5 hours to find 30 punches. There will be 4 different age groups: 30 and under, 31 to 49, 50 to 64, and 65 and over.
2 and 4 person Team Competition (N 39° 31.740 W 91° 42.250) October 10th
The Team Competitions will be held at 1:00 pm at the above coordinates which are located at the Indian Creek Recreation Area. Each team will have 2.5 hours to find 30 punches. There will be 4 different age groups: 30 and under, 31 to 49, 50 to 64, and 65 and over. For the 2 person teams, the age group will be the average of the ages of both people. For the 4 person teams, the age groups will be if three competitors fall in one of the four age groups, that age group will be assigned to that team. EXAMPLE: Person #1 is 15, # 2 is 28, #3 is 30, and #4 is 58, this team will fall in the 30 and under category. If there are not three people in one age group, then the average age of all four will be the age group your team will fall in.
2 person Team Puzzle Competition (N 39° 31.725' W 91° 44.345') October 10th
The Team Puzzle Competition will be held at 1:00 pm at the above coordinates which is located at the new Mark Twain Visitors Center. Each team will have 2.5 hours to solve 10 puzzles.There are no age groups for this competition.
Awards Ceremony (GC8F5VF) October 10th
The Awards Ceremony will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Monroe City. The doors will open at 6:00 pm. See GC8F5VF for more details.
