This year's Christmas Caper event will be held in the Chieveley village hall. As in previous years, there will be new caches, people to chat to, food and drink and a recreation ground and outdoor play area for children.

The hall has parking space for about 40 cars but there are only intermittent bus links at weekends. Proceedings will begin late morning and go on until about half past three. There will be several new caches nearby published on the day of the event. The planned timetable is:
11:30 doors open
12:00 bring-and-share lunch
14:30 raffle
15:30 close
The hall has tea and coffee making facilities and we will provide hot soup too, if the weather warrants it. As usual, the idea for lunch is that everyone brings something for the table and we share between us all. It would help if you could mention what you plan to bring in your 'Will attend' log.
There is a fee for hiring the hall so we are holding a raffle to help towards the costs. If anyone would like to bring a prize for the raffle then that would be very much appreciated.
We have created a special souvenir again for those who attend the event this year. It won't appear in the souvenirs tab of your profile but you can add it manually to your public profile should you so wish
