Local artist, John Cerney, has given us another mural on the Monterey Recreation Trail...providing yet another reason to go visit this fabulous area that tourists flock to! About these murals, John says: This is one of 4 murals created for the Cannery Row Business Improvement Association. Each one highlights a different era of the cannery industry in Monterey, starting in the early 1900's. Each mural is spread out along the Rec Trail parallel to Cannery Row.
Because of too much muggel activity, I wasn't able to place the cache on the mural, but it's nearby. Follow the hints to find this one. GPS is a little tricky in this area. It's a BYOP, camo-colored container, with a magnet to hold it in place.
Ample parking nearby, with a short walk down the rec trail to the location. You can also park on the street above the recreation trail. Mornings and evenings are best to avoid the crowds.
