Two miles Round trip, 2 part cache. Should take about one hour. The final coordinates to Part 2 "Missile View Cache" are hidden inside the "Lake View" location. ONLY step 1 "Lake View" coordinates are displayed at top of this page.Tree studded, open grassland, along a ridge. Dog-friendly park. Views of the Bay and Lake Chabot.
Park at N3742.813' W12206.523' where a gate through the fence is located. The walk begins with a short steep hike.
As an alternative to walking on the Asphalt road, the trails on the right leading up the hill, are more scenic and less busy. It's OK to walk on either side of the line of trees at the top of the hill.
There is quite a bit of POISON OAK near "Lake View", Part 1, though none in the immediate vicinity of the cache. SO look out for POISON OAK and make sure you become familiar with how to identify POISON OAK as it's growth and habitat changes
Please replace the "Missile" cache, Part 2, back along with some dry grass camouflage in last. There are some interesting features, alternative trails and other caches in this park. Have fun!
