[ ENG ] Welcome to the “Pennello” (‘ngopp ‘o penniell, in local dialect) that means brush in italian, but in this case indicates the quay of the port. The GZ is in the part built in ’50 of last century and was completed in ’70 by the below pier “Masuccio Salernitano”.
Destination of romantic walks, in addition to the presence of piers, it offers some restaurant activities, the city's sailing club and above all, from April to the first weekend in November, almost all the ferries to Amalfi Coast depart from here.
If you walk at the end of the new arm of quay you can enjoy a view of the city of Salerno dominated by the Arechi’s Caste and an overall look on the “Lungomare”.

Alla fine degli anni 50 del ‘900 fu realizzato il primo molo, appunto il Pennello, che negli anni 70 fu completato dal sottostante molo turistico Masuccio Salernitano.
Meta di molte romantiche passeggiate, oltre alla presenza dei pontili offre qualche attività di ristorazione, il circolo velico della città e soprattutto da qui, da aprile al primo week end di novembre, partono la quasi totalità dei traghetti per la Costiera Amalfitana.
Percorrendo l’intero braccio della banchina nuova potrete godere del panorama sulla città di Salerno dominata dal castello d’Arechi ed un colpo d’occhio sull’intero lungomare.
