As a fan of the Dupage County Forest Preserves, I had been to this preserve dozens of times. In the winter months of 2018, I was discussing cross-country skiing at this preserve with TeamAlexAbby. She asked if I had skied the trail around the main lake or the "hidden lake." I was unclear as to what she meant by hidden lake until I looked at an aerial view of the preserve. There's a hidden lake?! Yes there is!
I have since explored the trail around the hidden lake and invite you to do the same. Simply cross the bridge at the south end of the parking lot.

DuPage County Forest Preserve hours are one hour after sunrise until one hour after sunset. Visitors must not be in the preserves after hours.
