The Table Top area is an outer suburb north of Albury City and is so named after a mountain formation which is part of the Black Range. I have noticed that the actual shape of the Table Top is only obvious from a certain angle. At all other angles it is just a mountain peak – and “mountain” is a bit of a stretch too!
The famous Ettamogah Pub is nearby named after and designed to look just like the cartoon pub by Ken Maynard in the now defunct Australiasian Post magazine.
Anyway, this cache is located at a little known and used reserve in the Table Top area. It has tables, chairs, toilets and a small children’s play area overlooking a north-western arm of Lake Hume.
Please be aware that it is in a fairly visible location so stealth is needed. Due to this, no hint is given.
