This cache is situated at a lookout on the Maara Roa Walkway.
The Maara Roa Walkway is a walkway that passes through a forest restoration area on the way to Belmont farm at the top of the hill. The restoration is a long term project being undertaken by the Friends Of Maara Roa. On the way to this cache you'll see a lot of young native plants - many still seedlings.

It's a bit of a climb up to the cache but on a clear day you'll get some great views over Porirua out to Mana Island and the South Island. The cache is outside the farmed area so is available year round.
