A cache hide to commemorate another Milton Eagle Scout!
This cache was put in place by scouts to earn their Geocaching Merit Badge and to honor the accomplishments of another future Eagle Scout, my youngest son! My oldest earned his Eagle 2 years ago and his hide can be found HERE. This property is a 70+ acre section of newly conserved land in the Lyman Brook watershed. The cache itself is located in an area where an old cabin once stood before the land was turned over for conservation. My son installed the bench, marked the trail blazes, and erected the kiosk at the parking lot for his Eagle Project. The kiosk will soon feature a giant map of the trail system along with other trail information. Parking is temporarily at the end of Casey Rd, but work is continuing to make an actual parking area in the very near future. Hint definitely gives it away!
