Geocache Description:

Log sheets are double-boxed in a 60 ml container.

This cache is part of a series created with cycling in mind but we do not recommend the use of road bikes on this section of the Downs Link. Further north, up the slope to St Martha's, the trail also gets pretty narrow and, on weekends and holidays - especially in fine weather - there will be a lot of walkers with whom you will need to negotiate use of the trail...

All these caches can of course be found on foot though, from wherever you may begin or end your caching journey, you will probably need to return along the same route or use 2 cars, leaving your second at another point along the trail.

We have created a Public List of all the caches in this series (including some set by other owners) along the Downs Link trail. We will add new caches, to the list as they are created :) Downs Link Bookmark List

More general information about this series, including many recommended parking locations, can be found on Downs Link - Garden Centre? which is the first cache of the group heading north from West Grinstead Old Station, recognised as the midpoint of the Downs Link bridleway.

Some of the more local parking areas may also be shown as waypoints on this and other caches.
