Wszystkie przewodniki dotyczące Kliczkowa, wymieniają dawny cmentarz dla koni, zapewne jedyny w Polsce. Jeszcze w latach 50 ubiegłego stulecia stało tu kilkanaście nagrobków, dziś pozostały z nich zaledwie dwa - podobno resztę użyto do budowy okolicznych domostw. Ocalałe płyty nagrobne są już dziś zniszczone, choć na jednej wciąż widoczna jest inskrypcja z imieniem konia i datą jego śmierci: Juno, 1938. Poniżej wyżłobiono cztery imiona: Johann, Friedrich, Georg i Hermann - nikt nie wie, co oznaczają.
Przed laty w tym miejscu grzebano również ulubione psy właścicieli zamku. Cmentarz dla koni i psów powstał w czasie przebudowy parku otaczającego zamek. Na zlecenie hrabiego Fryderyka zu Solms-Baruth, wykonywał to Edward Petzold. Zaprojektował park w stylu angielskim, z rodowym mauzoleum i także z cmentarzem dla ulubionych koni księcia oraz psów myśliwskich.

All guides regarding Kliczków mention the former horse cemetery, probably the only one in Poland. Even in the 1950s, there were a dozen or so tombstones here, today only two remain - apparently the rest was used to build nearby houses. The surviving tombstones are already destroyed today, although one still shows the inscription with the name of the horse and the date of his death: Juno, 1938. Below, four names have been carved: Johann, Friedrich, Georg and Hermann - no one knows what they mean.
Years ago, the favorite dogs of the castle owners were also buried here. The cemetery for horses and dogs was created during the reconstruction of the park surrounding the castle. On behalf of Count Frederick zu Solms-Baruth, it was done by Edward Petzold. He designed the park in the English style, with an ancestral mausoleum and also a cemetery for the prince's favorite horses and hunting dogs.
