Off Yer Trolley! caches are intended to provide fairly easy park-and-grab caches together with the opportunity to nip in to do the shopping at the same time or even escape the shopping for "The need to cache".
The cache site affords a good view of the latest addition to the shopping experiences in the area. Let's hope shoppers can find it okay, because according to the Opening Times in the UK website, the new store will be on “Stocks Bridge Way, about a 276.83 mile driving distance north-east of the centre of St Ives”!
Back in the 1950s this was the site of a chicory factory. As the chicory industry waned, the factory was abandoned. The factory buildings came to a spectacular end when they were featured as a huge 20-pump warehouse fire in London’s Burning, a TV series about the exploits of Blue Watch at Blackwall fire station. The filming was screened as the series 4 finale, over two episodes broadcast in November and December 1991. Series 4's climax won the programme its record rating of 18.86 million viewers.
