☃️❄☃️2020 Winterfest Geomeet ☃️❄☃️ Event Cache

Join us for lots of fun at the Return of the Annual Winterfest Geomeet to be held at Chapman State Park on Saturday January 18th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM... Please note the location for the Geomeet is, again, at Pavilion #2...

This is part of the Winterfest at Chapman Dam, that has returned after work on the Dam & lake has been completed... Come out and see the improvements...             

 This is the pavilion with walls, picnic tables, and a fireplace inside. The geomeet will begin at 10:00 AM and you will have about 4 hours to mingle with your fellow geocachers in the Pavilion and hang out around the fireplace🔥taking advantage of lots of opportunities to swap geocaching stories or get a hint about your most recent nemesis cache...

 There will be lots of fun caching to do in the park as there will be some new caches published just prior to this event and lots of good food available to help us all brave the elements... As, usual, there will be available food from vendors and, also, hot drinks & cookies in pavilion... Please, feel free to bring a tray of cookies or snacks to share with your fellow geocachers....

This event will happen ❄SNOW❄ or NOT!

NOTE: Du  e To Possible Conflict With The Sled Dogs in the Park Please Do NOT Bring Geodogs to This Event.  

Intro to Geocaching for new cachers will be available...  Come out and help a new geocacher learn about caching and start a new obsession...

10:00 AM -2:00 PM Learn about geocaching, socialize with old friends and meet new ones, and warm yourself by the fireplace🔥 in Pavilion # 2.

Spend the day with friends,  check out new coin (will be available for purchase), trade travel bugs, hunt for new caches, and maybe win a game or door prize..drawings at 1:00 PM

☃️❄☃️Also, will be having a Build a Snowman Contest for all Winterfest visitors, will need to sign up and get number at pavilion #2... Judging will be done at 2 PM... Come build a snowman to add to the festivities..
