Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a series of caches which are placed at or near village halls and community centres.

West Buckland is a large and varied parish in Somerset adjoining the county boundary with Devon and stretching from the River Tone as it flows through the Vale of Taunton Deane up onto the northern ridge of the Blackdown Hills.

The West Buckland Village Hall is finished to a high standard, which enjoys a superb location just off Silver Street and adjacent to the Playing Field.

There is a large main hall capable of seating 154 people with a 50-seat committee room, together with well-equipped kitchen facilities

A coffee bar/servery, entrance hall, store room, toilets, hearing loop and full disabled access make the Village Hall something to be very proud of.

We have done many Village Hall caches in the past so we decided to place one of our own! The West Buckland Village Hall is one of the nearest Halls to us from our home Wellington Somerset so that is why we chose this one!

The cache is not at the posted co-ords. At the Village hall you will need to do an easy quiz to obtain the correct co-ords to find the cache.

These are the questions!

# Question 1 - Find the defibrillator on the Village hall wall where on it there is a cabinet CHT number, Take the First number and Minus the Last number = (A)

# Question 2 - Also from the cabinet CHT number Add the Second and Third number together + 2 = (B)

# Question 3 - Now find the aluminium door at the back of the building, the number of hinges on the door +4 = (C)

# Question 4 - The number of letter boxes on the building = (D)

# Question 5 - The number of window ledges that are on the side of the building that faces the main road + 1 = (E)

# Question 6 - The number of airbricks Plus the number of lights on the wall that faces the main road = (F) (G)

# Question 7 - Now look for the speed limit sign and the telegragh pole that are near to one end of the Village Hall. Take the First number on the speed limit sign and Add it to the number on the small siver disk that is on the telegraph pole = (H)

# Question 8 - Last but not least count the number of letters on the green oval shaped sign on one end of the building x 4 Minus 10 = (I) (J)

The Cache can be found at N 50 (A)(B).(C)(D)(E) W 003 (F)(G).(H)(I)(J)

The cache is only a short walk away!

Here is a checksum - A+B+C+D+E+F+G+H+I+J = 43

This is our first Village Hall cache placed and one of many we hope! This cache was inspired by the prolific CO LizMar2010 who have placed many that are fantastic!
