While out in the area I had made a few other caches that involved whales. I headed down the other trails and placed these as well.
There are many tracks around these areas, and this is one that will take you from Whale Bay car park to the road below and take you to Matapouri.
Another reason to get off the usual trail is to find new locations.
Have an explore.
You will need to hop up the bank about 2m when you get to GZ.
The tree you will touch is a Puriri. These grow to huge massive beings and have lots of quirks.
