Welcome to Whale Bay, Well almost.
After 10 years of Geocaching we headed out to the place that I found myself.
Today we hosted an event and on completion we placed this cache.
This was intending to be a replacement for Whale of a Cache in the bay, but SCN managed to fix it up.
When you approach this cache you will notice 2 huge pohutukawa trees.
If you are observant, you will notice the old pathway. That is before the one on the left fell down. This created a huge block and since then, the pathway was created at its base.
You will be searching for a cache in the epiphytes! Not to worry, no need to leave the ground.
Please rehide well and ensure the inner container is sealed.
Walking to Whale bay will take around 10- 15 minutes, but it's worth it.
