Geocache Description:


The United States Grand Prix has taken place at 10 different locations over the years but have not always been called the United States Grand Prix. Locations that this race has been held at have been (in no particular order): Long Beach, California (United States Grand Prix West), and the same years at Watkins Glen, New York (United States Grand Prix East), The Caesars Palace Grand Prix in Las Vegas, Nevada, The Detroit Grand Prix in Detroit, Michigan, The Dallas Grand Prix in Dallas, Texas, The Phoenix Grand Prix in Phoenix, Arizona, "II United States Grand Prix" in Sebring, Florida, Riverside, California, and Indianapolis, Indiana.

Since 2012, it has been held every year at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.

Pole position went to Bottas in the Mercedes with Vettel next to him in the Ferrari.

Vettel retired after seven laps with rear suspension failure.

On the podium in first place was Bottas in a Mercedes, second was Hamilton in a Mercedes and Max Verstappen in the Red Bull finished in third place.

Fastest lap was set by Charles Leclerc in the Ferrari with a time of 1:36.169 on the 5.513 km (3.426 mi) circuit. That’s attained at 206.374 Km/h (128.23 mph)

At this race Lewis Hamilton gained enough points to seal his fifth Formula One World Championship.
