What: Schmoozing & Food!
When: Friday, 11/29/19, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm
Where: Forestry Pavilion, 1350 Snow Hill Rd in Geneva
So, about the event name...
Personally, I think that's an apt description of anything I've ever tried cooking on a grill. Whether it's steak, chicken, pork chops, or even simple hot dogs. If I'm commanding the grill, you can bet it'll come off rather charred. Like, Moses could carve Commandments 11 through 15 on it, charred.
But, like Sisyphus, I just keep trying...
Don't believe me? Come to this event, and let me dazzle you with my astounding skill, to turn otherwise wonderful dead critter parts, into practically inedible chunks of carbon! I figure on firing up the grill around 5:30pm, or so, and I'll keep it going till all the hotdogs are thoroughly incinerated. I'll bring buns and condiments, just in case any of the hotdogs somehow manage to survive. If you wish to bring something you feel might compliment burnt hotdogs, feel free to do so. I imagine folks will develop quite an appetite, smelling my sad attempt at cooking, so if you bring stuff, at least no one will starve.
Kudos to Joy, from the Forestry, for the permit which makes this event possible.
Hope to see you There!
