This cache has been placed in memory of Auzee, the Geodog, part of the LaDeBA cachers. He was our Australian Red and Tan Kelpie, who very sadly left us at the early age of 12 years in May of this year.
Auzee was a very happy puppy and we enjoyed him very much. To us he was the rebel of our two guys, not as easily trained but very smart in his own way, always knew and took what he wanted, always seemed to take things in stride. He enjoyed endless hours of exploring / walking / running / chasing / rough housing, always thought everyone was his buddy, etc. He always led the way but didn't always know where he was going and looked to his older brother (Bailey) for some guidance. He wasn't that interested in fetch until older, loved agility and was very fast, loved sun bathing, learned he had a tail for wagging and balance during his mid-life. He always made us laugh with all his antics. Surprisingly dogs can cache too 
, both our guys were able to find caches when we were searching.
Auzee was our everything dog (as the vets put it because of all the meds he was on), he survived full blown seizures, which started about 3 and carried on till about 6. He was a very anxious and nervous dog. For all these ailments he had quite a few meds to try and stablize him, we tried a couple times to reduce them but could quickly see they were still needed. As Bailey (our other Geopup) got old Auzee seemed to realize he now had to help his big brother. But a spur in his back that was increasingly pressing on his spine caused him to lose mobility in his back and rear legs. Auzee had alot of medical issues during his life but always carried on. It was hard to see his health eventually take him.
Auzee you will alway be remembered. Hope you are in your happy place and hoping we can meet again.
