Whilst the Nation was talking about the introduction of Medicare and the retirement of cricketing greats Greg Chappel & Rod Marsh, Mr whitedog would occasionally ride his Yamaha XS 1100 too fast.
And on the 13th it happened!
The youthful 20-year-old clipped a corner and hit the road in a fairly quiet part of town. He got up and realised only one arm was working but managed to push the 275 kg motorcycle into the bushes and walk back into town to attend the Hospital with a dislocation of the AC (acromio-clavicular) joint
