Geocache Description:





Peach Preserve was once part of a World War I shipyard. Abandoned in 1920, the site was neglected and overgrown. In 2001 Patsy Bullitt Collins donated $1.5 million to the Preservation Trust to purchase the property. Formerly known as "Demopoulos Marsh"after the previous owners, the property was re-christened "Peach Preserve" in honor of Patsy's childhood name.

Located at the Peach Preserve Property, managed by The San Juan Preservation Trust and placed with permission.

Please help care for this Nature Preserve by obeying the following rules:
