More Peaceful Days at the Sanitarium Traditional Cache

My Home Away From Home

This area was once the home of a well-known sanitarium. Due to a bizarre set of circumstances, this was my "home" for quite a while. I give a little of the history in my first cache, Peaceful Days at the Sanitarium.

Most of the mental patients suffered from delusions. For a while, I thought I was the Crown Prince of some dynasty. Of course, now I know that it wasn't a delusion at all.

The asylum staff were good to me, and allowed me hobbies. This was in the early days of geocaching, before the satellites were operating. The staff let me make caching containers out of my old pill bottles, and hide them around the grounds. The patients would then run around finding the caches and claiming "FTF!" If we misbehaved, they made us solve terrifying puzzles by people called "Lamneth" or "Fizzy." After a few of those, we learned to behave.

One day I snuck out and ran down the trail. Before the guards caught up with me, I put an old pill bottle under some old concrete. Is it still there?
