The cache is a soda bottle preform just a short distance from where the Springboard Trail passes next to a small meadow; and downhill from where that trail intersects with the Blue Blossom Trail.
I planted this cache on a cold and foggy Black Friday 2019. In the last few years, I've opted to avoid shopping of any kind by going hiking on that notorious day. I'm hoping to make it a tradition (...and perhaps hiding a new cache each time will become part of that tradition).
The cache is about 50 ft from the trail, with only some minor bush-wacking required. Per the name, if you don't see any kind of steep drop-off, then you're not close enough yet. But you also don't need to take any kind of plunge to find it. (The cache is accessible from flat ground).
You may see mountain bikers whizzing by on the nearby trail as you search and sign; it is an outlet for two popular downhill runs from the hills above.
