Geocache Description:

This geocache will take you to an amazing point in Isla Teja, with an incredible view of Santuario de la Naturaleza. This is a very easy trail (might be nice for a 1/2 day picnic) in the north part of the island. I would recommend you access it through the Arboretum, where you might enjoy some temperate rainforest in the middle of town. Go into the Arboretum and keep walking on the main trial for around 15 - 20 minutes and going uphill. At some point you will have to go to your right into Fundo Teja Norte. Both places are separated by a wired fence for cows. You will have to fin a spot to cross over. Don't worry as both places belong to the University and it is perfectly legal to move between them. Once in Fundo Teja Norte, you will have to take the main trail and keep walking for another 15 - 20 minutes. At some point you might think you lost the trail, but it is just straight ahead. Five minutes into this last trail, you will notice an amazing tree on your right hand side and 30 meters ahead on your left, you will see a huge hole in the ground. The geocache is there, hiding between some small logs, and leaves. From that spot you should see the Mirador (a lookout point) to the huge wetland and where 2 rivers (Cau Cau and Cruces) met.
