Geocache Description:

This series of caches was designed for the Rotary Club of LaBelle. I know through caching that I have discovered many places I never would have otherwise known existed and what other way to have people explore parks and other various locations around the town.

The caches for this series will range from bison to small-ish and will not be the same container at each location, so unlike other series caches that use the same container, we have tried to switch it up! We want the cachers to enjoy their surroundings while on the hunt.

Barron Park is an active location in LaBelle. From having a place to dock your boat on the Caloosahatchee River to a scenic view looking over the river.  Every year they hold the Swamp Cabbage Festival the last full weekend in February.  You will find vendors and entertainment whether you’re noshing on swamp cabbage fritters and gator tail, buying frog leg jam, watching an armadillo race, or taking in the rodeo and parade.  The famous Armadillo Races are held here as well (mentioned on "Kelly and Ryan").  This cache will hopefully bring a smile to your face.
