Geocache Description:

It's amazing how time can change places.

Consider what you know as Crocker Park.  It's history has many levels, as does GZ for this cache.

In the mid 1800's it was owned by the Crocker family... and the final farm residents were the Juergemeier family.

They sold in 1982 to developer Bob Stark, who eventually develops it into what it is today.

In 1994, the corner house owned by Erwin and Julia Koestel sold the last house for $115k, where US Bank is located now.

I can still remember looking out the window and seeing nothing but farm fields here.

Take a minute and see the images of this area, while you're about to grab this cache.

Imagine yourself living in this time period... what would your job be like?  Your family?  Your day from morning to night?  Would you invent geocaching, but using rods and chains, or hectares?  Would you be the one to come up with GPS?

The farm house used to be on "Crocker Park", where this cache is, as it sat in the early 1900's:

Atlas map from 1874 - notice how many prominent names you recognize... These land owners are the origin of many street names

Now, log this cache and get back on the road, they're not going to log themselves!
