This geocache placed by kind permission of Somerset Wildlife Trust. See https://www.somersetwildlife.org/nature-reserves/draycott-sleights for more information. Draycott Sleights is a haven for wildlife, butterflies, plants, birds and mammals. Please respect the nature and stick to the footpaths and enjoy the views. Draycott Cave (also known as Paint Holes) is a low entrance approx 3 metres at the foot of a small bluff and gives access to a dry horizontal muddy passage about 24 m long. I love the views from up here on a clear day. The cave doesn't go anywhere and is very muddy and slippery so I wouldn't recommend exploring beyond the entrance. Dogs on a lead as there are livestock roaming freely.
