Geocache Description:

This is a FTF Power Trail, beginning at the start of Middle Road (Middle Road, turning into Locust Street spans 20 miles, beginning in northeast Bettendorf and ending in western Davenport). It is a thoroughfare for traffic in Scott County. A "Power Trail" is a series of at least 50 geocaches within close proximity. A "FTF Power Trail" means that if you are the "first to find" (i.e. the 'FTF') of a cache in this series,

PLEASE 'PAY IT FORWARD' BY PLACING THE NEXT CACHE ALONG THIS TRAIL, AND PLEASE DO SO WITHIN TWO WEEKS OF GETTING THE FTF.

Keep in mind that some areas will be higher muggle traffic than others, so you may have to be creative in your hides, or may have to dive slightly off course to put out a hide. Park legally and be safe.

CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES. PLEASE DON'T GO TO THE HOUSE, THEY HAVE NO VITAL INTEL.

The Intel:

Giggles McButtkin left his residence at 6:18am on 12/24/2019. Supposedly to go to town and retrieve some items that was needed for a trip he was planning for the New Year.He was last seen on West Locust st and 110th ave by a couple of farmers. They said that he had stopped for directions to a hardware store near by. That was at 7:07am that same day. It was a nice day, partly sunny and around 44 degrees out.

Officers were called to the scene. Officer Tubbs, who just came on duty, was the lead investigator. Oh did I mention that we are looking for McButtkin. Ok on with the report. Officer Tubbs asked the witnesses if McButtkin was seen with a gun. Not that they had noticed. But they said he was carrying a large duffle bag with pipes. Officer Tubbs then radioed dispatch to give them the farmers drivers license information, just in case he needed to get intouch with them again for further questioning, when dispatch told him to stop transmitting, because a situation had come up that they needed radio silence for.

Mean while, at Mr McButtkins residence, Detective Crocket was investigating the scene where he found this sheet of paper with markings he thought might be important. He bagged the evidence and sent it to forensics for analysis. This is what was on the paper.

Oh, I forgot the officers also posted a picture of the missing person and other important finds.

Thank you for your time and help in locating my friend Giggles.

Have fun and safe caching.

Congratulations to DTCBEARSnMATHMATE for FTF
