This is a combination Social Event/CITO.
We will meet at 9:00 a.m. at Le Petit Restaurant and Bakery. There is no requirement to make a purchase, but when you put the word "French" next to "Bakery", it's hard to resist.
At 9:30, we'll walk across the street to pick up trash by the South Beach Jetty for half an hour. I will provide gloves, trash bags, and about half a dozen trash pickers.
At 10:00 a.m., everyone is welcome to join me at the Ventura Harbor Wetlands Ecological Reserve for a half-mile counter-clockwise walk around the preserve. I have not seen a lot of trash in this area, but there may be some things to pick up. Here is a short article about the reserve.
