This geocache is accessed via the velvet trail. This path takes you through the midde of the sand dunes from birkdale towards aindsale. it is a mixuture of sandy paths, undergrowth and uneven terrain. You may also come across nattejack spawning lakes concelaed witin the dunes. Genrally all year round this path is busy so beware of being spotted. During the winter this route is especially wet and boggy so wellies are a must. Accessing this cache will require wellies as you will have to negotiate standing water and mud.
