Geocache Description:


The cache is NOT located at the stated co-ordinates. There is no need to go to the stated co-ordinates to obtain the required information to allow you to solve the puzzle.

Geocache containers come in all sorts of shapes and sizes, the logbook for this geocache will be found in a plastic 35mm film canister.

The stated co-ordinates are for a buidling built in the late 1990's as the first part of the modernization of London Heathrow's on airport Cargo Village. The building was original built for the sole use of British Airways World Cargo but over the years with mergers and aquisations it now handles cargo ofr a number of airlines.

The Acentis Centre handles in the region of 500,000 tonnes of general import and export cargo a year.

Cargo typically falls under one of two categories: loose or unitised.

Loose cargo is a package(s) that can be placed directly onto the best available space on an aircraft.

Unitised cargo refers to a group of packages or consignments that are shipped together. Typically, this type of cargo is packed together on a pallet or inside a container before being placed on board.
