WINDOW GORGE
This is the FIRST in a fun series of caches located along, or close to, the Contour Path above Kirstenbosch Gardens.
It is a magical path that takes you through ancient indigenous forests, across gurgling streams and past cascading waterfalls; and every so often breaks out of the vegetation to reveal glorious views South & Eastwards over the Constantia Valley and Southern Peninsula and back onto the rocky crags of the back of Table Mountain.
The caches are all located at/around various RIVERS/GORGES along this journey and suitable for the whole family (there are no steep or technical sections)
NB - please do NOT wander off the path at any time, as this causes erosion - all caches are accessbible from the main paths
Cache 1 is located inside a secret hidey-hole inside a tree on the South side of the gorge
