Con Te Partiro (Time to say goodbye) to Las Vegas, our first leg of our Hawaii Geocaching Cruise Adventure. Con Te Partiro is one of the most popular fountain shows highlighting the music of Andrea Bocelli & Sarah Brightman.
Please plan on joining oa group of fellow cachers from around the US as we enjoy the fountains of Ballagio.
Whether you have seen the show a thousand times or are witness the spectacular performance for the first time, a stop by the Bellagio fountains is necessary with every trip to the Las Vegas Strip.
Romantics from around the world gather at the Bellagio Fountains to watch more than one thousand fountains dance to music and light with water soaring more than 460 feet high.
At times there are more than 17,000 gallons of water in the air at one time!
A few minutes before each show is set to begin visitors can see the nozzles break the surface of the water and the hotel tower will illuminate in purple, or a themed color depending on the musical selection.
The entire performance spans more than 1000 feet giving viewers an excellent performance from nearly anywhere in front of the Bellagio Fountains. Travelers by car on Las Vegas Boulevard can also enjoy the show as it is common to be stuck in traffic on this part of the strip.
The fountains were created in collaboration with WET Design on the 8.5-acre lake in front of Bellagio on the Las Vegas Strip in 1993, the year of the hotel opening. WET Design also created the famous Mirage Volcano.
A specialized staff of 30 people work every day of the year to clean, service, and maintain the iconic fountain attraction.
