Our family love Geocaching, bush walks and climbing mountains.. this year we started coming up to Mangawhai and decided the best way to combine all our loves was to hide a few Geocaches in our favourite spots up here!
This cache is a magnetic nano, and it's located near a view that we think is one-in-a-million.
To start the short bush walk needed to get there, find a park ner the Mangawhai Club or the Golf Club on Molesworth Drive. There is a shingle driveway that goes towards the bush between these two clubs, and this leads to the start of the bushwalk.
It's a hop, skip and an easy jump up the track - but to get to the Treetop Lookout it requires 15 or so steps up a wooden spiral staircase.
The cache is located very close by.
