I love this little trail. Only the local yokels really know about it. When I was in gathering the container for the old cache that was here, one of those locals wandered by and commented on how well the lake was looking. The LAKE??? We're in the middle of town!! He said to just follow the path and it will take me right to it. Needless to say I did and WOW...there's a lake!! So ok, they made it as a drainage reservoir for future development but it LOOKS like a lake and at the time it looked simply magical. So don't burst my bubble and let's just go with The Secret Lake.
When you start the trail you might be tempted to just follow your GPS and bushwack however in the name of preservation I'd suggest making a left hand turn at the corner you will come to and following the trail around. Hopefully the locals will keep a visible trail otherwise..yeah you'll figure it out.
