Come celebrate 20 Years Of Geocaching in Wilson Park! Bring your old logbooks, old trackables, personal trackables, and trackables to swap and trade to celebrate 20 years of geocaching.
WHEN: Sunday, October 4, 2020 10AM-12PM

WHAT:
- NEW CACHES: There will be fun, new caches hidden in the park and published before the event for all to find should they choose to do so.
- TRACKABLES: A trackable table will be set up. I encourage you to bring old log books and memorabilia to help celebrate 20 years of geocaching!
- ACTIVITIES:
- Time Capsule! I will have an ammo can and envelopes and paper available. Should you wish to participate, you can write down anything you want (in regards to geocaching or not), how many finds you currently have, what geocaches you've recently found that are your favorite, future caching trips you have planned, what caches you hope to find in the next 10 years...etc. Once you have finished your letter, place it in the envelope, seal the envelope, and add your first name and caching name to the outside of the envelope. The intent is that this time capsule will be opened 10 years from now at the 30th Anniversary of Geocaching!
- PARKING / RESTROOMS: There is plenty of parking around the park. Restrooms are located near the playground on the other side of the park.
- PARK DETAILS: We will be on the side of the park near the boat launch area. There is a bike path in the park along with walking trails, a playground, and ball fields.
Be sure to log a WILL ATTEND so I can get an idea of how many people are expected to attend.
