Geocache Description:

02 May 2020, 11:00 - 13:00

2nd May 2020 is Geocaching's 20th Birthday and what a day to have a party!

At Geocaching Ireland, we thought, wouldn't it be great to celebrate, get a new icon AND hang out with some other cachers?!

Cachers from all over the island of Ireland and further afield are invited and welcome to come chat about our shared obsession - the old days - new plans - and just have some fun.

There will be cake, party hats, games, gadget caches, prizes and much, much more.

When: Saturday 2nd May 2020

Where: Argillan Demesne - at the co-ords

Start: 11am - Special logbook available

Group Picture: With the Geocaching Ireland flag - 12pm

General games and merriment: Ongoing....till 1pm or after ....there's plenty of caches in the park with maybe a few new ones on the day...

Bonus: New icon for attendees - this event is to commemorate the 20th anniversary of geocaching and all attendees will gain a special icon and souvenir

New to geocaching? Looking for some hints and tips on that tricky find or what tools to use? Come along!

This is a family-friendly event and all are welcome!
