Geocache Description:

03 May 2020, 10:00 - 12:00

As geocachers, we wear all kinds of footwear when out caching, from runners to heels, hikers to thongs. Personally, I have found caches wearing hikers, runners, thongs, gumboots, river shoes and even office heels!

We all cache in our preferred footwear. Some prefer hikers, some prefer thongs. In this geocaching community, we are all unique.

Two Different Coloured Shoes Day is aimed at celebrating your uniqueness by putting two different coloured shoes on display as a way to step outside the box.

The Two Different Coloured Shoes Day has been in celebration since the year 2009. Dr Arlene Kaiser is the founder of this colourful fun celebration Day. Kaiser has created this Day as a way to recognise and celebrate human diversity.

The world can use a little colour, and there’s nothing wrong with everyone being as diverse and as different as they are. There are so many wonderful things to celebrate about our various cultures, backgrounds, religions, and every other aspect of what makes us unique.

How colourful are you?
